We’re back with an exclusive Pro:Direct Soccer ‘Closer Look’ and today it’s a big one – this is the new Nike Nuovo White pack. 2019 has already brought us some sure-fire winners in the boot game but there is nothing cleaner than a triple white drop, and that’s what we’ve got on offer today.

Alright, boots time.

Superfly 1
Superfly 2

A predominantly white based pack is always well received, just look at one of our favourites the ‘Just Do It’ collection from the 2018 World Cup as an example. Remember those? That’s right, the ones we took to Madrid for Cristiano Ronaldo to unbox. Then, each of the boots had a distinctive colour pop to distinguish one from the other on pitch – but not so here, this is as clean as it gets with near white out editions of all of Nike’s current line-up.

Infact, Nike are just on it right now, this Nuovo White drop being the third pack that features the new generations of both the Mercurial and Tiempo, of course backed with the precision duo of Phantom Vision and Phantom Venom. The Tiempo you’ll already be familiar with, having arrived alongside the black ‘Under the Radar’ colour for this generations’ initial launch. It sets the standard for the pack design, the added iridescent colour pops set off against a pure white base.

Vapor 1
Vapor 2

For the rest of the line up, it’s back to pack for Nuovo White. After splitting up the reveal of the boots for New Lights drop, we’ve got Vision and Venom alongside the Mercurial pair of Superfly and Vapor all arriving at once, giving you plenty of elite level options. Potentially frustrating though, it’s only firm ground sole plates at this price, but there’s more choice as you move down the prices.

If you’ve been waiting for a simple, clean edition of the Vision, this is your chance. Yep, this is as pure as the design comes, quite emphatically the true opposite of a stealth black pack. Even the dynamic fit collar gets the white-out treatment, only a metallic silver swoosh, tech call outs and silver stud tips deviate from the theme.  The Vision Elite does get a subtle iridescent application across the sole, although this is much more toned down than on some previous editions.

Phantom VNM 1
Phantom VNM 2

The other half of Nike’s precision pairing is the Phantom Venom, proving ever popular with you, the boot buying public. Such a crisp, clean upper and sole plate isn’t going to change that, the smart polygon raised swoosh in silver has subtle hints of iridescent added that shimmer and reflect in the light. Under the hood it’s the same tried and tested formula for the Venom, so you know this is going to be a boot that performs just as good as it looks.

When it comes to Mercurial, it’s usually the boldest and loudest colourways that make their way to Nike’s flagship speed boot. But even when a simple yet clean version drops like this, it still looks right at home on both the Superfly 7 and Vapor 13. That broken Swoosh design still looks futuristic, that evolved split sole still looks supersonic, that bold logo design still makes this edition unmistakably Mercurial.

So, much like adidas’ recent Input Code release, these boots will only be seen on pitch by selected players. Where the three stripes version is all about the glory of the Champions League, Nike revert to a familiar approach this time and the Nuovo White drop is for the next generation of rising stars who are making a name for themselves on the biggest of stages. We’ve seen this before, usually around this time of year as Nike like to acknowledge their new wave of talent with a limited drop, well this year that’s what Nuovo White is all about.

Right, drop details time. We’re all about bringing you the very best in boots, we’re and the proud home of the world’s biggest bootroom, that’s just what we do. We make it super-easy to get your hands on a new pair of Nike’s latest drop, pick out your favourite pair or cop the whole pack HERE at The only hard part is choosing which of this pack you’re going to checkout with.
