adidas drop boldest Predator 20 yet with Tormentor Pack
The Predator has always been about keeping the opposition on strings, ensuring your rivals stay at arm's length. Close, but not close enough. Quick, but not quick enough.
Just when they think they have the upper hand, the Predator compliments your control to snuff out hope, providing sublime touch to help you make the most of your vision and maximise distribution to leave them chasing shadows.
So, it's only fitting that the third edition of the Predator Mutator 20 comes from the Tormentor Pack.
A fresh blue and red paint job, inspired by the legendary 2002 Mania that featured in the Japan and South Korean World Cup, offers a new perspective on the menacing Predator 20 design while the red Demonskin elements explode off the upper for this generation’s boldest look yet. By far.
We’ve had the classic red, white and black Mutator launch, the moody and stylish Shadow Beast and now the bright Tormentor, and you know what? We’re liking it.
Quite often the Pred is about flying under the radar and devastating the opposition without a fuss. But sometimes you just have to make a statement and the Tormentor Predator does exactly that, just as the Mania did on the biggest stage 18 years ago.
We mentioned the Demonskin earlier and, of course, all 406 spikes are present and correct on the upper of the 20+ model, along with that extended Sock fit collar which we get to see in a colour other than black for the first time.
The blue collar lets us see red details peeking through the upper on the laceless section which combines perfectly with the Demonskin. There’s dual-coloured chrome on the split soleplate for a super-premium look on the bravest Predator 20 to date which is only available in the FG version at the plus level.
adidas are releasing fresh 20.1 mid-cut and low versions for firm ground as well as a laceless 20.3 version. And, for the keepers, the excellent Predator Pro gets the Tormentor makeover treatment.
The adidas Predator 20 Tormentor pack is available early right now from the home of the world’s largest bootroom at Pro:Direct Soccer.
