adidas drop fire new Predator Mutator 20 from Shadow Beast Pack
Hot on the heels of that game-changing adidas Predator Mutator 20 and the introduction of the 20.1 Low at the start of the month, the Three Stripes have unleashed yet another masterpiece into the world in the shape of the Predator Shadow Beast Pack.
One of the most pleasing aspects of the new Pred was that the debut colourway was so on point. Red, black and white. Everything a Predator fan could want as those Demonskin spikes on the forefoot delivered a super-aggressive look while paying tribute to the very first Predators way back in 1994.
This is essentially a blackout pack with a difference as silver, scale-like details on the soleplate, the Three Stripes and heel add a bit of flair to the moody colour scheme. Serious boot fans will recognise the colourway on these for good reason because it debuted on the X, Copa and Nemeziz which had their own Shadow Beast release in January.
We think it looks sick and we’re gassed that the Pred has been given the Shadow Beast makeover like the rest of the boots in the adidas family, even if they did make us wait for it. It definitely looks the part and whatever helps you get the job done on pitch, the Predator Shadow Beast pack has something for you.
There’s elite-level laceless plus models and .3 FG and turf options as well as all-laced .1s and SG, AG and indoor .3s.
The 20.3 Laceless version actually looks even better than the OG Mutator and offers serious bang for your buck at just under £85. The new 20.1 Low went down a storm on release and you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a Shadow Beast version as well.
There’s no new tech in these as the first version from this generation only dropped in the last couple of weeks, but we’re just pumped to already have the option of a classy blackout Predator.
There’s no doubting this is a special pack, but this one is exclusively for the everyday ballers out there. That means Predator players like Mesut Ozil, Dele Alli, Ivan Rakitic and Paul Pogba can’t even get their hands on these, but you can from the home of the world’s largest bootroom at Pro:Direct Soccer right now.
