Today Nike put the focus firmly on the Phantom series with the release of a brand new colourway exclusive to the VSN and VNM. Only available at the Elite and Academy tiers, the Fully Charged Pack features an electric blend of blue and orange (or “Bright Crimson”, if you’re Nike) intended to maximise your potential on the pitch. Let’s take a look.
While there’s no new tech on either boot, it’s clear that Nike’s designers wanted to do something special for their two latest silos, decking them out in a unique colour scheme with a few eye-catching little details. On the Phantom VSN, there’s the bold contrast effect created by outlining the micro-textured midfoot panel in Bright Crimson, especially with the Swoosh right next to it.
The precision-focused Phantom VNM’s chief use of the supercharged orange comes on the injected blades on the instep. Slightly more subtle, but we like it – it looks like an electrified power grid ready to power up your shots. The VNM’s angular Swoosh looks boss in black too.
So, which do you favour: touch or precision? Make your choice quickly – the Nike Phantom VSN and Phantom VNM football boots from the Fully Charged Pack are available from March 4 for the Elite model and March 5 for Academy at
