Nike release Future Lab pack
The future has arrived and it’s looking brighter than ever. Nike have just dropped the flames new Future Lab Pack and you better get used to it because we’re going to be seeing it A LOT.
The new year has brought a heap of fresh boots and Nike are never one to miss out as they introduce the beautiful new VSN II boot, which you can check out here, as well as sublime makeovers for the Mercurial Vapor, Mercurial Superfly, Phantom VNM and Tiempo which will all be appearing on pitch over the next few months.
The standout design comes on the Vapor and Superfly which have been given a proper Merc makeover for 2020. Officially called Laser Crimson, the fluorescent pink takes centre stage on these two with black details keeping it classy on the Swoosh, at the heel and underneath.
The Mercurials have a racing-inspired chequered flag print at the heel, similar to that which we saw on Neymar’s most-recent signature boots, which pays homage to their pure-speed heritage.
This is a colour mixture that just works for the Mercurial family. Bright pink on a speed boot. It’s a winning combination that’ll turn heads as you leave your opponent for dead.
On the Phantom VNM it’s a moodier affair with the black and laser crimson sharing the space on the upper. But there’s also slick silvery details on the Swoosh and soleplate that will add a touch of class to the likes of Marcus Rashford's and Robert Lewandowski’s goals at the top level.
It means Eden Hazard will be wearing the Vapor Elite at the Bernabeu and Virgil van Dijk could be holding Liverpool’s first Premier League trophy in the Tiempo Elite from this pack. Ah, we’ve hardly mentioned the Tiempo yet, so let’s take a proper look.
That k-leather upper remains in a toned-down red with white at the heel and a black, wrapped Swoosh.
As with all the other boots in this drop, other than the new VSN II, the tech in the Mercs, VNM and Tiempo remains the same the others from this generation.
There’s plenty to choose from in this drop from the Elite version down to Club level for each silo and soleplate and they’re all available from the home of the world’s largest bootroom at prodirectsoccer.com right now.
