We hooked up with two of the capital's finest creative talents in Poet & Yinka and set them the task of working their craft over a trio of PUMA's latest footwear models. The results are steeped in London influence and signature story telling, representing the generation who grew up in the city and share a passion for football and their roots.

This unprecedented four way collaboration resulted in three unique pieces in the Future, ONE and a new street silhouette the AVID Netfit sneaker. Check out the collab below in more detail and read on to find out the story behind the boots.
The Future 18.1 football boots take their design inspiration from the estates that make up London. Cold, grey and solid on the outside but it's filled on the inside with vibrancy that makes them a unique place to live. The people who live within the estate have inspire the graphic that adorns the insoles of both the Future and ONE 18.1 football boots.

This graphical design is a patchwork of things that represented Poet’s childhood growing up in London: from bus tickets to take away menus, sweet wrappers and mobiles. The light concrete colour of the upper represents a typical London tower block, messaged with a "No Ball Games" wording on the heel to add that rebellious touch of using your home patch as your play ground.
By contrast the Puma ONE 18.1 depicts city by night with a Black and Grey tonal upper that features reflective elements, a nod to construction workers building the city. The blocked graphic gives a visual cue to the skyline of tower blocks throughout London. Completing the LDN City Pack is a streetwear option to accompany the two on-pitch editions.

Taking the Future 18.1 football boot and modifying into a lifestyle silhouette which lands with more capital vibes. Combining the dark tonal look of the ONE with the patchwork graphic of the insoles to give a low key look suited to the urban environment they are inspired by.

But the tech is nothing new, having featured in past iterations of the Future. The focus here is firmly on the shiny new exterior. If, like us, you appreciate sparkly new toys, then head on over to, get your own pair to play with and prepare to stun the opposition. Sorry, had to get it in there in the end.

The Puma Future 2.1 Stun Pack football boots are available at from 8th October 2018.
