Winter's coming... and when the floodlights come on, it's time for high visibility. A nod to the first ever Hi-Vis Premier League ball back in 04/05 - the Total 90 Aerow - is making a comeback as Nike have revealed the official Premier League winter match ball to played with this season (2019/20).

It is the first time in the competitions history that the hi-vis football will have a different design to the regular season merlin. It has been 15 years since the hi-vis football was introduced to the Premier League and this latest iteration adds a modern twist to a timeless classic, using Nike's most innovative design technology to date.

In a nod to the iconic heritage of the Total 90 Aerow football, a "T90" logo features on one of the panels of the new Premier League Hi-Vis Merlin footballs.

So when will we see the ball on-pitch? From October 25th the all Premier League games will be playing with the Hi-Vis Merlin. So fully except to see Virgil Van Dijk bulleting it away with a header, Aubameyang dinking it over any keeper at the Emirates or Kante winning it back like his ball's been nicked in a school playground.
