Puma Future Launch From 'Anthem' Pack
Can you face the noise? Prepare for the pressure of attacks. Puma Anthem ‘future’ Grip 19.1 in Grey Dawn and Energy Red are designed to handle the pressure. This much younger and more modern style comes with a knit construction with the silicon application inspired by the Future boot design.
In the last few days we’ve seen the release of the Puma Anthem Pack which included two new colourways of the ‘One’ and ‘Future’ boots which will be worn by the likes of Luis Suarez and James Maddison. Yet, what do we know about the keeper’s gloves? Well, we all know football in this country will be played in all conditions; rain, wind, sun (occasionally) and thunder. That’s why the Puma Future is breaking boundaries to be efficient in all environments. Even better, is you can combo up with the boots and gloves as the colours are aligned.
This Future glove is knit, which provides a very tight but comfortable fit and it also follows perfectly the natural shape of your hand. It also absorbs perfectly the sweat. The silicon on the punching zone provides grip and due to the firmer constitution of the silicon, the energy of the ball won`t be absorbed, which results in a longer punching distance.
As we investigate the palm of the glove, we can see little black dots. This elite latex foam forms as a base which adds stickiness and the little black dots will add extra grip when handling from crosses and shots.
As we head into pre-season these Puma Future keeper gloves are the ones you need to keep an eye out for. With design features created by Puma to suit all weather and pitch conditions. Handle with care and collect calmly as you’ll feel superhuman with these on.
Whilst Puma were designing and crafting the gloves they had them tested by non-other than world-class Atletico Madrid goalkeeper, Jan Oblak. Gaining input from one of the most talented keepers in world football is credit to the lengths Puma wanted to go to. He even went as far as saying it had everything he had dreamt of in a glove. Pretty big statement.
