Uhlsport Bring Back A Classic
Uhlsport's Fangmaschine glove was first launched almost 10 years ago and was worn in top leagues across the world by some of the brands elite names. in 2010 the SÜDAFRIKA model was the brands flagship glove for the 2010 World Cup tournament and was seen on the hands of then Uhlsport keepers such as Hugo Lloris of France and Vincent Enyeama of Nigeria.
The glove was popular among keepers thanks to a sleek fit and latex thumb construction, the Fangmaschine glove offered extra cushioning and additional latex to ball coverage to help keepers feel more secure when catching and making saves.
So it’s no surprise that almost a decade since first being released it has now been given a facelift and been rereleased for a limited time only!
The retro Fangmaschine has the same sleek fit and many of the same features as the original but it now features Uhlsport’s top of the range Supergrip latex which comes with integrated high grip elements to improve grip and feel in all weather conditions. This latex has been a hugely popular addition to the Uhlsport stable and is the choice of many of their elite keepers.
The glove is due to be worn by several keepers in their respective leagues around Europe this weekend. Rune Jarstein (Hertha BSC) & Alexander Schwolow (SC Freiburg) are just a couple that could be taking a trip down memory lane in these retro Fangmachine gloves.
