Nike today go one step further with the Jordan x PSG mashup, adding a fresh take on the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG sneaker to the hugely in-demand collection.

Following on from September’s superhot Air Jordan V drop, the PSG-edition AJ1 is a stunning mix of classic Jordan style and sleek Paris Saint-Germain details. Looks-wise this is a more subtle execution than the first Jumpman x PSG shoe, featuring an all-black canvas upper with minimalist branding. Check out the details below and the all important drop information.

The only colour on the sneaker comes in the form of a red, white and black vertical stripe on both the tongue label and the midsole. Small touches, but it’s testament to the work Nike and PSG have done with the brand that they’re instantly recognisable as relating to the Ligue 1 champions. Additionally, you rarely see any kind of visual embellishment on the midsole of an Air Jordan 1, so it’s significant that the designers have chosen to place the stripe there, further adding to the uniqueness of an already highly exclusive collab.
Inside it’s a similar story, with “ICI C’EST PARIS” emblazoned on the heel section of the insole, accompanied by a freeform version of the spray-paint-style stripe seen on the Jordan PSG football kits. It’s the same design as the PSG Air Jordan V’s insole, and looks to be the trademark of Jumpman x PSG sneakers – along with the collaboration’s bespoke logo, of course, which features here on the underside of the tongue.
Also worth mentioning are the laces. In the box you’ll find the premium black ones already on the shoe, along with a red alternative neatly rolled up. Which looks better? It’s a tough choice: the default black laces feature metallic silver aglets with a tiny Jumpman print, while the red only have standard plastic aglets, but do add extra colour and character to the shoe when laced up. Definitely worth experimenting to see which you prefer, and props to Nike for providing the option.
Considering the hype around September’s launch event and the unrelenting popularity of the gear since then, it’s hard to see anything other than a quick sell-out for the PSG x Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG, so if you’re desperate to cop a pair, head over to now and make sure you don’t miss out.
